The paved path at the start of the
trail with some gravel deposits from
a recent rain

The trail is wide and welcoming along the lake side

Hikers have a choice of paved or natural surfaces at times along the lakeside route

Grasses grow along the packed-earth trail but are rarely an obstacle

The paved trail transitions smoothly with the packed-earth path

The packed-earth trail meanders under shade trees and near fishermen

natural surfaces
