Overview
Tohono Chul Park is a 49-acre botanical garden showcasing native and desert-adapted plants of the Sonoran Desert
The name “Tohono Chul” means “desert corner” in the language of the Tohono O’odham Nation
Themed gardens highlighting local geology, climate, flora, and horticulture
Enjoy a cold drink or meal at the hacienda-style bistro and explore art galleries in the Exhibit House
Parking, Restrooms & Amenities
Ample accessible parking near the entrance, accessible restrooms, water stations
Shade ramadas and informative signage
The park is largely wheelchair accessible, though some outer trails—such as the South Loop Trail, Saguaro Discovery Trail, and Desert View Trail—have rocky or uneven sections
Docents patrol trails and share insights on Sonoran Desert ecology and culture
Guided tours offered most days, included with admission
