Trail Characteristics

The Nature Trail begins with a steep incline leading to a flat mesa.

The trail is a firm packed surface with rocks that may protrude up to 2”.

Large rock obstacles may be skirted along the wide trail .

The steep incline at the beginning of the trail is sustained for 0.25 miles.

The incline leads to the top of a flat mesa where the trail levels to a rolling route.

Dogs-on-leash are allowed along all trails in the park.

The west half of the Nature Trail loop has large boulders and narrow sections.

Rock erosion-control features stretch across the trail along the west half of the loop.

A lengthy rock outcrop presents an obstacle along the west half of the loop.
