The long loop has several staircases to help hikers on steep climbs

A pullout on the trail provides hikers with a bench and a mountain view

A wooden bridge straddles a dry wash along the trail

The intersection of the long and short loops is marked on the map and easy to follow

The short loop begins with a 4-6” lip from the paved parking lot to the gravel trail
